I just back last night from an awesome midway-thru-football-season getaway trip back home with baby M and Miss Oakley. I didn't do much blogging (or thinking about blogging for that matter) while we were away...with so much fall fun, friends and family to see and Targets to shop at I just didn't make the time. While we get ready to jump back into our routine this week I thought I would give you a quick photo dump of our trip!
I swear my parents live on the prettiest street in town. The leaves and colors were phenomenal!
A post-partum PR! The first race back makes it a guaranteed PR, right?! Me and my racing buddy!
Picking apples just like I grew up doing on the East Coast.
Followed by eating copious amounts of gluten free apple crisp.
No pictures were captured of that, it disappeared too fast.
Hiking Devil's Backbone with my Mom and my built in weight vest (eerrr...baby)
Shopping for fun new workouts clothes and then testing them out at a local mom's fitness class!
Miss Oakley loved the leaves, the big yard, the long runs with Grandpa and playing with her puppy friends!
Cheering at 2 back-to-back Ram wins at a sold out Hughes Stadium. They are 7-1...GO RAMS!
Is there anything cuter than a baby in leaves? I think not.
We had so much more fun that's not even pictured here. I'm so grateful for the time I had to spend with so many friends and family!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend too and are ready for a healthy week ahead! Once I get unpacked and plow through my laundry piles I'll work on getting a real post ready for y'all!I promise!
how about you?
Did you do anything fun this weekend?
What's one goal you have for the week ahead?
It's great to see you! I'm Alyssa and I blog about all the things I've found "essential" in my life as a fit mama and football coach's wife. You'll find all kinds of fun stuff here like workouts, oily info, football stories and more!
