Carrying on with my "baby update week" posts...I posted earlier this week about my first trimester workouts and what I have changed so far. Now that I'm moving into trimester #2, the biggest thing that's changing is my belly! I'm really learning that every pregnant woman is different and there is no "normal" time to start showing, or start wearing maternity clothes, or whatever. Maybe it's just my incessant need to be comfortable, but I've already ventured into maternity jeans a few times, and have been getting some use out of my Belly Band. To me, I would much rather be comfortable than squeezing into pants that are too tight. So far I've had good luck with Gap Maternity stuff and I even found some great steals at Ross! Like I said earlier this week, I feel the most comfortable when I'm wearing workout clothes. Unfortunately, even those are getting a little tight - and I'm down to 1 pair of pants and 1 pair of capris that pass the workout-comfort-test! Most of my tops are still fine, but I don't expect that to last long. That's where For Two Fitness swoops in to save the day!
If we're going to get our sweat on we may as well look cute and be comfortable doing it, and I absolutely LOVE the products by For Two Fitness. I first discovered this company through Jess at Blonde Ponytail when she was pregnant last year. I bought one as a gift for a friend (read about it here), and now can't wait to get some for myself! Here are a few of my favorites from their site:
